Terms of service

These terms cover the Klipd app for Windows, the website at klipd.online, and Klipd's cloud plans. By using them you agree to these terms.
The app
The Klipd app is free to download and use. You may use it for personal and commercial videos. Don't reverse engineer it to remove limits, resell it, or bundle it with malware.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to make an account.
Your clips
You own the clips you record and upload. By uploading a clip, you let us store it, process it (for example, make thumbnails) and show it to people you share its link with, only to run the service. Clips set to “Only you” are shown only to you.
Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, sexual content involving minors, content that harasses or threatens people, or malware. We may remove content that breaks these rules and close accounts that repeatedly do. To report a clip, email support@klipd.online with its link.
Plans and payment
- Cloud ($10.99 a month) includes 50 GB of cloud storage. Unlimited ($49.99 a month) has no storage cap for normal personal and creator use; we may contact you about use that's clearly abusive, such as using Klipd as general file storage.
- Plans renew every month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.
- If a plan ends, clips you already uploaded stay online and their links keep working, but you can't upload new ones until you choose a plan again.
Deleting things
You can delete any cloud clip, or your whole account, at any time from your account page. Deleting your account cancels your subscription and deletes your cloud clips straight away.
No warranty
Klipd is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will never miss a clip or that the service will never be down. Keep copies of clips that matter to you on your PC. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
